HaloExport – Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 31, 2026

HaloExport ("the extension", published by AgentHalo) exports AI chat conversations you have open in your browser to files. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness.

1. Your conversations stay on your device

The extension reads a chat page only when you click the HaloExport toolbar button on that tab (Chrome's activeTab permission). The conversation is converted to Markdown, TXT, JSON, Word or a printable page entirely inside your browser. We never receive, store, or transmit your conversations or any page content. PDFs are created with your browser's own "Save as PDF" print dialog.

2. Data stored locally

A random install ID, your plan status and a daily counter of free PDF exports are kept in Chrome storage on your device (the install ID may sync with your Chrome profile).

3. Data on our licensing server

• Random install ID – sent when the extension checks whether you have Pro.
• Email address and Stripe subscription/payment ID (paying users only) – received from Stripe after checkout, used only to unlock and restore Pro.
• Restore codes – stored only as a hash, expire after 10 minutes. Rate-limit counters (hashed email, IP address) expire within about an hour.

4. Service providers

• Stripe – processes payments; card details go directly to Stripe (Stripe privacy).
• Resend – delivers restore-code emails (Resend privacy).
• Cloudflare – hosts the licensing server (Cloudflare privacy).

5. Retention and deletion

Licensing records are kept while you use Pro. To delete your data, email support@addsum.top with your checkout email; we delete it within 30 days. Cancel a subscription anytime via the link in your Stripe receipt.

6. Children

The extension is not directed to children under 13.

7. Changes and contact

We will update this page if practices change. Questions: support@addsum.top.
